Mon Nov 11 22:44:55 UTC 2024: ## Mahavir Temple to Celebrate Dev Uthann Ekadashi with Special Shaligram Puja
**Ujjain:** The Mahavir Temple in Ujjain will host a special puja for Lord Shaligram on Tuesday, marking the occasion of Dev Uthann Ekadashi. The ceremony will take place in front of the Satyanarayan Bhagwan idol on the first floor of the temple.
Lord Shaligram will be seated on a platform made of sugarcane, with Tulsi Mata placed beside him. The puja will be followed by an aarti, and the deity will be offered his favorite dish, coriander panki.
Temple trust secretary Acharya Kishor Kunal highlighted that this tradition of celebrating Dev Uthann Ekadashi with Shaligram puja has been followed for years at the Mahavir Temple.
Priest Pandit Gajanan Joshi explained that with the Lord’s awakening from his yogic sleep, all auspicious activities like weddings will now be permitted.
