Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty were recently spotted in Bengaluru, enjoying a casual outing at a popular café, Third Wave Coffee. The couple, appearing relaxed and approachable, took selfies with enthusiastic local patrons who were thrilled by the surprise encounter.
Sunak and Murty also paid a visit to the Sri Raghavendra Swami Mutt in Jayanagar, seeking blessings. The couple, along with Murty’s parents – Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy and author-philanthropist Sudha Murty – were seen at the temple.
Sunak’s return to Bengaluru, the city where his wife’s family is based, stirred curiosity among social media users. While some celebrated the sighting, others jokingly commented on his ties to Infosys, his in-laws’ company.
Bengaluru has been a recent hotspot for VIP visits, having also welcomed King Charles and Camilla for a wellness retreat in Whitefield.
