**Karachi, Pakistan:** The upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan, has hit a major snag with India’s potential refusal to travel to the neighboring country. Political tensions have led to a decade-long absence of bilateral series between the two cricketing giants, and despite India’s participation in the ODI World Cup in Pakistan in 2023, reports suggest they are reluctant to travel for the Champions Trophy.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has proposed a “hybrid” model, with India playing their matches in Dubai, a solution that has been met with strong disapproval from Pakistan.
