**Chennai, India** – Renowned Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh passed away on November 9, 2024, due to age-related ailments. His son, Maha Devan, confirmed the news on social media, revealing that Ganesh passed away at approximately 11 pm.

Ganesh, who served in the Indian Air Force for a decade before pursuing acting, had a prolific career spanning over 40 years. His acting debut came in 1976 with the film “Pattina Pravesam,” directed by the legendary K Balachander, who gave him his stage name.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Ganesh appeared in over 400 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, leaving an indelible mark on the South Indian film industry. Some of his most notable works include “Nayakan,” “Michael Madhana Kama Rajan,” “Sindhu Bhairavi,” and “Iruvar.”
