**Washington, D.C.** – As the 2024 US presidential election concluded on November 5th, early results show a close race between incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris (D) and former President Donald Trump (R).
Preliminary counts reveal Trump in the lead with victories in ten states, including Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Florida. He also holds the edge in eight other states, namely Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and Oklahoma.
