Sun Nov 03 22:50:00 UTC 2024: ## Rams Wide Receiver Puka Nacua Expected to Play Against Seahawks Despite Knee Injury

Los Angeles Rams fans can breathe a sigh of relief as rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, despite being listed as questionable with a knee injury. Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Nacua is on track to suit up for the crucial NFC West matchup.

Nacua suffered the knee injury during practice earlier this week. He left practice early Thursday after banging his knee on the ground and was held out of Friday’s practice. However, Rams coach Sean McVay has stated that there is no structural damage to Nacua’s knee, and he is optimistic about his receiver’s availability for Sunday’s game.

This is not the first time Nacua has dealt with this knee issue. He initially injured his right knee in August during a joint practice with the Chargers, forcing him to miss three weeks of practice. The injury flared up again in the Rams’ season opener, putting him on injured reserve for five weeks.

Nacua returned to action in Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings, showcasing his talent with seven catches for 106 yards. In two games this season, he has tallied 11 catches for 141 yards.

Nacua’s presence will be crucial for the Rams as they look to bounce back from a tough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The rookie, who holds the NFL record for most receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486) by a rookie in a single season, has the potential to be a game-changer for the Rams’ offense.
