**TEL AVIV, ISRAEL** – Israel has announced the deployment of a groundbreaking new air defense system, Iron Beam, utilizing laser technology to counter a range of projectiles. This comes amidst escalating tensions on multiple fronts, with Israel facing threats from Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.

The Ministry of Defense has signed a $500 million deal to expand the production of the Iron Beam system, developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Elbit Systems.
