Fri Nov 01 18:19:26 UTC 2024: ## Bihar BPSC Declares Results for Head Teacher & Principal Posts, 42,918 Candidates Successful
**Patna, Bihar:** The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has brought cheer to thousands of aspirants by releasing the results for Head Teacher and Principal posts late Thursday evening. A total of 42,918 candidates have been declared successful, with 36,947 clearing the exam for Head Teacher positions and 5,971 for Principal positions.
The results can be accessed on the official BPSC website, http://www.bpsc.nic.in.
The exam was conducted on June 28th and 29th, with around 1.50 lakh candidates appearing for the recruitment process. The recruitment was for 37,947 Head Teacher and 6,061 Principal positions in primary and higher secondary schools. However, results for 90 seats are yet to be declared.
Initially, the BPSC had advertised 40,247 Head Teacher positions, but later reduced the number to 37,947.
The successful candidates will be appointed as Head Teachers for classes 1 to 8, while those appointed as Principals in higher secondary schools will be responsible for classes 9-10 and 11-12.
