**Dhaka, Bangladesh:** South African pace bowler Kagiso Rabada made history today, becoming the fastest bowler to reach 300 Test wickets during the first day of the Bangladesh-South Africa Test match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Rabada achieved the milestone by dismissing Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim, marking his 300th Test wicket. This remarkable feat eclipses the previous record held by former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis, who had reached 300 wickets in 12605 balls. Rabada, on the other hand, achieved this milestone in only 11817 deliveries.
The South African fast bowler is now the sixth South African to achieve the coveted 300-wicket mark in Test cricket. He joins a prestigious list of bowlers including Dale Steyn (439 wickets), Shaun Pollock (421 wickets), Makhaya Ntini (390 wickets), Allan Donald (330 wickets), and Morne Morkel (309 wickets).
