Hyderabad: Police have busted a rave party at a farmhouse owned by Raj Pakala, brother-in-law of Telangana Minister KTR.
The police raided the farmhouse in Mokila following a tip-off about a party involving illicit substances. During the raid, police found evidence of drug use, including traces of cocaine, and seized large quantities of foreign liquor, Indian liquor, playing cards, and casino equipment.
A total of 35 individuals, including 21 men and 14 women, were found at the party. The police arrested them and are investigating the case.
According to reports, Vijay Maddhuri, a close associate of Raj Pakala, was found to have used drugs at the farmhouse. Police are investigating whether the party was primarily a liquor party or a drug-related event.
Police are also investigating how the attendees obtained the foreign liquor. The individuals arrested are facing charges under the Excise Act for violation of liquor laws.
The incident has sparked a controversy, with the opposition party TDP alleging that KTR’s brother-in-law was involved in illegal activities.
