**Kampala, Uganda** – Vasundhara Oswal, the 26-year-old daughter of Indian billionaire Pankaj Oswal, has been detained by Ugandan police on charges of criminal and economic offenses. While initial reports suggested involvement in the kidnapping and murder of a missing chef, subsequent information points towards alleged fraudulent activities related to a cryptocurrency scheme.

Oswal, a finance graduate from the University of Switzerland, was apprehended on October 1 by a team of armed men believed to be police officers. The arrest took place at the Oswal family’s newly established alcohol plant in Uganda.
