The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the results of the National Eligibility Test (NET) for June 2024 on its official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This year, the UGC NET exam was conducted between August 21 and September 4. The initial exam held on June 18, 2024, was cancelled due to suspected paper leak, but a subsequent CBI investigation found the allegations to be false.
The cut-offs for JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility, and PhD eligibility are different for each subject and category. For example, the cut-offs for Political Science are:

The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year to select candidates for Junior Professor Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions in universities and other higher education institutions across India. The score is also now accepted for admission into PhD programs.
