**Giridih, October 10, 2024:** The Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM) has announced its candidates for 14 Assembly seats in its second list released on Thursday. The list includes high-profile candidates for the Gandey and Dhanwar seats, considered key constituencies in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Akil Akhtar (Rizwan) has been named as the JLKM candidate for the Gandey seat, currently held by incumbent MLA Kalpana Soren. Meanwhile, Rajesh Ratna will contest from Dhanwar, currently represented by BJP state president Babulal Marandi.
The second list also includes candidates for the Dhanbad seat, among others. JLKM president Jairam Mahto, who will contest from Dumri, said that the party has now declared candidates for 20 seats, and expects to announce the remaining candidates by Dussehra.
“We have decided to contest from two seats in addition to Dumri. We will contest from one seat among Gomia, Mandu, and Bermo,” Mahto announced during a press conference in Dhanbad.

The JLKM had earlier announced its candidates for six seats, including Mahto himself.
