Sun Oct 13 20:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Saints Activate Running Back Kendre Miller for Game Against Buccaneers

**NEW ORLEANS, LA -** The New Orleans Saints are getting a much-needed boost in their backfield as rookie running back Kendre Miller is set to make his season debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Miller, who was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, has been officially activated and will take the spot of starting safety Will Harris, who was placed on IR earlier this week.

The addition of Miller is a significant boost for the Saints, who are looking to snap a three-game losing streak. With rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler making his first career start, the team will be hoping that Miller can provide a reliable rushing option and take some pressure off Rattler.

The Saints’ offense has struggled to find consistency in recent weeks, and the return of Miller, a promising talent out of TCU, could be a game-changer.

In other roster news, the Saints elevated safety Johnathan Abram and guard Chris Reed from the practice squad to the active roster.
