**Bahraich, India:** The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has issued a stark warning to the Muslim community following the violent death of a young man, Ram Gopal Mishra, during Durga idol immersion in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday in the Rehua Mansur village, saw Mishra shot dead by a mob after a dispute arose over a DJ being played near a religious site.
Dr. Surendra Jain, joint general secretary of the VHP, expressed deep concern over the growing trend of attacks on Hindu religious processions and festivals across the country.
