According to law enforcement sources, police were initially called to a residence in Los Angeles on October 5th regarding an alleged assault involving Randle. She had left the scene by the time officers arrived. Two days later, Randle was arrested after a caller at the same home reported a possible domestic issue and potential violation of a restraining order. TMZ reports that Randle was “irate and far from cooperative” during the booking process. However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office rejected the case when Randle appeared in court on Wednesday.

The 59-year-old actress, who began her career as a dancer before transitioning to acting, is most recognized for her role as “Brandy” in the 1993 film “Poetic Justice.” Her career reached its peak in the 90s with roles in blockbusters including “Bad Boys,” “Malcolm X,” “Space Jam,” and “Jungle Fever.” Randle played Martin Lawrence’s wife in all three “Bad Boys” films. Though it was initially expected she would reprise her role in the upcoming “Bad Boys 4,” Randle was ultimately recast.
