**Kashipur, Uttarakhand:** Lieutenant General (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh, the Governor of Uttarakhand, inaugurated the “Uttarakhand Cell” at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur. This initiative aims to catalyze development across three key sectors: tourism, agriculture (especially horticulture), and technology, through collaborations between IIM Kashipur and three prominent state universities.
The collaboration involves Kumaun University for spiritual tourism, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology for horticulture, and Uttarakhand Technical University for technology. These partnerships will formulate plans for comprehensive development in these sectors, engaging relevant government departments, institutions, and ministries under the framework of Uttarakhand’s administrative regulations.
