Wed Oct 09 05:02:52 UTC 2024: ## Hyundai Offers Festive Discounts on Popular Car Models

**Chennai, October 2023:** In a bid to boost sales during the festive season, Hyundai Motor India has announced attractive discounts on select models. The offer, valid until the end of October, covers four popular models including two SUVs.

The discounted models include the Hyundai Exter and Venue SUVs, as well as the i20 and Grand i10 Nios hatchbacks. Furthermore, Hyundai is also offering discounts on certain CNG variants.

This move comes at a time when the passenger vehicle segment in India witnessed a decline in sales for the third consecutive month. Car manufacturers across segments are offering substantial discounts in an attempt to capitalize on the festive season, traditionally a period of high sales volume.

Hyundai’s decision to offer discounts follows a 10% drop in sales for the company in September. The Korean automaker sold a total of 64,201 cars last month, with 51,101 units sold domestically.

The Hyundai Creta SUV remains the company’s best-selling model, particularly in its CNG variant, which has seen sales growth exceeding 13%. Other CNG models including the Exter, Grand i10 Nios, and Aura are also eligible for discounts.

Hyundai is offering benefits of up to INR 80,000 on select variants of the featured models. The Venue sub-compact SUV is the major beneficiary of the scheme.

Buyers can save up to INR 80,629 on the Tata Nexon, a competitor to the Maruti Brezza, while also availing a complimentary accessory package worth INR 21,628 for just INR 6,000. The Hyundai Exter, another popular SUV, is available with discounts of up to INR 42,972, along with a INR 17,971 accessory package at a discounted price of INR 5,000.

The Grand i10 Nios hatchback is the second-highest beneficiary of the offer after the Venue, with discounts of up to INR 58,000. The i20, available in standard and N-Line variants, is also eligible for discounts of up to INR 55,000.

With these attractive discounts, Hyundai aims to boost sales during the crucial festive period and further strengthen its position in the Indian market.
