Haryana witnessed a close contest in the 2024 Assembly Elections, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging as the leading party. The state recorded a voter turnout of 67.90% on October 5th, with Sirsa district recording the highest turnout at 75.36%.
Several key victories for the BJP include:
* **Gurgaon:** Mukesh Sharma of the BJP won against independent candidate Naveen Goyal by a significant margin of 68,045 votes.
* **Hodol:** BJP candidate Harinder Singh defeated the Haryana Congress Chief.
