**Gurgaon, October 5, 2024:** Early trends from the Haryana Assembly elections indicate a strong performance by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gurgaon. With results still being tallied, BJP candidates are leading in all four constituencies of Gurgaon – Gurgaon, Pataudi, Badshahpur, and Sohna.

**Badshahpur:** BJP’s Rao Narvir Singh is currently leading with a comfortable margin of 1737 votes over Congress’s Vardhan Yadav after the first round of counting.

**Sohna:** BJP’s Tejpal Tanwar is ahead of Rohitas Singh of the Congress by 1248 votes after the first round.

**Pataudi:** Bimla Chaudhary of the BJP is maintaining a lead of 3000 votes over the Congress’s Pearl Chaudhary in the first round.

**Gurgaon:** Mukesh Sharma of the BJP is currently leading with a significant margin of 8000 votes.

The counting of postal ballots is underway across all four constituencies at the Government Girls College in Sector 14.
