Hyderabad, India – Renowned South Indian actor Rajendra Prasad is mourning the loss of his daughter, Gayatri, who passed away on Saturday, October 5th, after suffering a heart attack. She was 38 years old.
Gayatri was admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday night after experiencing chest pain, but sadly, she succumbed to her illness despite medical intervention. The actor’s home is now shrouded in grief, and his family is being offered support from the South Indian film industry.
Tributes poured in from fellow actors and fans alike on social media, with many expressing their shock and grief over the sudden loss.

Gayatri leaves behind her daughter, Sai Tejaswini, who has acted as a child artist in several films. Rajendra Prasad was recently seen in the movie “Kalki 2898” playing the role of Rumi. He has starred in numerous successful films including “Utsavam”, “Jalebi”, “Waltair Veerayya”, and “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo”.
Gayatri’s funeral is scheduled to take place today.
