**Brisbane, Australia:** Australia’s all-rounder Georgia Wareham has enjoyed a significant climb in the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings, just days before the start of the T20 World Cup. This surge comes on the back of a dominant performance in the final match of the recent series against New Zealand.

Wareham, 25, was named Player of the Match in the series-clinching victory, scoring 26 runs off 16 balls after batting at No.3 and then taking 2/21 with the ball. This propelled her up 11 spots to 101st on the T20I batter rankings, 6 spots to 14th in the bowler rankings, and 3 spots to 17th in the all-rounder rankings.

While Australia’s Beth Mooney retains her top spot in the batter rankings, teammate Phoebe Litchfield moved up to 39th after scoring 77 runs in the series against the Kiwis.

New Zealand, despite losing the series 3-0, had some positive movement in the rankings. All-rounder Melie Kerr rose to 14th in the T20I batter rankings, while teammate Maddy Green climbed to 46th in the same category.

England’s Sophie Ecclestone heads into the World Cup as the top-ranked bowler, ahead of India’s Deepti Sharma. Meanwhile, Australia’s Eden Carson moved up to 16th and Sophie Molineux jumped to 60th in the bowler rankings.

In the all-rounder rankings, West Indies captain Hayley Matthews remains at the top, while Australia’s Ash Gardner, named Player of the Series against New Zealand, made some ground to claim second place.

As the T20 World Cup kicks off, these rankings provide a glimpse into the talent and form of the world’s top players, adding another layer of excitement to the upcoming tournament.
