“When I received the birth certificates, I was keen to go home and see her reaction and happiness with their names,” Muhammad told The Electronic Intifada. “But on my way home, I received a call saying that my house had been bombed.”
The shell from an Israeli tank tore through their apartment, leaving Jumana’s body on the ground below and the bodies of the twins so badly burned that one was unrecognizable.
