Fans of the iconic adventurer can prepare for a thrilling return of Lara Croft as Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming anime series, *Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft*.
The action-packed trailer showcases Lara, voiced by Hayley Atwell, wielding her signature twin pistols and battling monstrous foes. The series follows the events of the recent *Tomb Raider* trilogy, with Lara returning to Croft Manor after a powerful Chinese artifact is stolen.
“History doesn’t always tell us the whole truth, because the real truth is too difficult for most to bear,” Lara says in the trailer, hinting at a compelling and mysterious plot.
The anime features a return of Jonah, a familiar face from the *Survivor* trilogy, voiced by Earl Baylon.
The series release coincides with the announcement of a new *Tomb Raider* game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Amazon Games. This new title, currently in development with Unreal Engine 5, promises an exciting addition to the *Tomb Raider* universe.
