**Sao Paulo, Brazil** – Apple’s latest iPhone 16 series, unveiled earlier this month, boasts improved battery life, thanks to slightly larger battery capacities across all four models. This information was revealed by Brazil’s Anatel agency, which certified the new iPhones on September 9th.
While Apple typically keeps battery details under wraps, the Brazilian telecom regulator’s listings confirm the enhanced battery performance. The iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max all feature slightly larger batteries compared to their predecessors.
Most notably, the iPhone 16 Pro boasts a battery with over 9 percent higher capacity than last year’s model, while the other three models see an increase of around 6 percent.
The larger batteries, coupled with the new A18 and A18 Pro chips and improved thermal optimizations, are expected to deliver significant battery life improvements. Apple claims the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus offer two and one additional hour of usage, respectively, while the Pro models promise four extra hours of video playback.
Although Apple only provides specific playback times, the increased battery capacities and optimized hardware suggest users can expect noticeably longer usage times across the board.
