A video shared by Fox News shows Trump completing a Bitcoin transaction on his phone, stating that the process was “easy.” The transaction involved 1,659,618 satoshis (Sats), equivalent to $998.77, according to PubKey. This marked the establishment’s first presidential visit and, according to PubKey, “one of the most historic transactions in Bitcoin history.”
During his visit, Trump also appealed to the crypto community for support, assuring them of a friendly stance on crypto regulation if re-elected. He expressed criticism of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its treatment of the industry, promising fairer treatment if he wins the November election.
