Fri Sep 20 07:47:21 UTC 2024: ## Modi Blasts ‘Three Families’ for J&K’s Woes, Promises Statehood Restoration

**Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on three political families – the National Conference, Congress, and PDP – for allegedly failing Jammu and Kashmir and hindering its progress during a rally in Srinagar on Thursday. He accused them of putting stones in the hands of the youth and selling hate for their political gain.

Modi, addressing a massive crowd at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, stated that these families had “given only fear and anarchy” to J&K and had “played with the future of the youth” for their political interests. He claimed that under their rule, many young people were denied education and pushed towards violence, while their own families enjoyed power and privilege.

The Prime Minister highlighted the recent improvements in J&K, including the opening of schools and colleges and the provision of opportunities for the youth. He asserted that the BJP government is committed to restoring statehood to J&K and ensuring a peaceful future for its citizens.

Modi further criticized the three families for supporting Pakistan’s agenda on Article 370 and vowed to thwart such attempts. He promised to issue a white paper on terrorism in J&K, aiming to bring justice to the victims.

He concluded by assuring the people of J&K that the BJP government would continue to fight against terrorism and create a secure and prosperous future for the region. His remarks come just a day after the first phase of the three-phase Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
