**London** – Despite sending birthday greetings to the Duke of Sussex on his 40th birthday, Prince William has no plans for a reconciliation with his estranged brother, according to an insider.

The two brothers’ relationship has been strained since Prince Harry’s departure from the Royal Family in 2020, and subsequent public accusations made by the Duke in his memoir and Netflix series.

While both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace issued birthday messages to Prince Harry on Sunday, a source close to the Prince and Princess of Wales told the Daily Beast that Prince William views Harry’s claims as “unforgivable” and is currently prioritizing his family and duties.

“The honest truth is that William has no interest right now in reaching out to Harry and Meghan. He regards what Harry said in his book as unforgivable and, understandably given Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, just wants to focus on his wife and family first and his job second,” the source said.

The source also revealed that Kensington Palace’s birthday message was not a personal message from the Prince and Princess, adding that “There isn’t space for a complicated reconciliation process with Harry. It’s not a priority.”

While it remains unclear if King Charles contacted his son on his birthday, it is understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales did not reach out.
