**Wardha, Maharashtra:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party at a rally in Wardha, Maharashtra, calling it “hateful” and accusing the party of opposing Ganpati pooja. He also launched the ‘Acharya Chanakya Skill Development’ scheme, which is expected to benefit 1.5 lakh youth annually in Maharashtra.

The rally marked the completion of one year of the ‘National PM Vishwakarma Programme’, which aims to empower traditional artisans. PM Modi also unveiled a commemorative stamp to celebrate the programme’s success.

During his speech, PM Modi accused Rahul Gandhi and the Gandhi family of being “the most corrupt royal family” and of pursuing “anti-India agendas” on foreign soil. He criticized the Congress for opposing Ganesh pooja and for engaging in appeasement politics. He also lauded the ‘Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme’ and the foundation stone laying of PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (MITRA) at Amravati.

Highlighting the significance of the MITRA Park, PM Modi stated that it will benefit cotton farmers in Vidarbha by providing local processing of their produce, thereby creating a value chain “from farm to foreign export.” He also stressed the government’s commitment to supporting farmers in Vidarbha through schemes for onion and soybean producers.

The Prime Minister concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of Vidarbha’s role in Maharashtra’s development and progress. He highlighted the state’s infrastructure improvements and the vital contribution of Vidarbha’s farmers to the state’s prosperity.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Union Ministers Jitan Ram Manjhi and Jayant Chaudhary.
