**Baltimore, MD** – The Baltimore Orioles have designated veteran closer Craig Kimbrel for assignment, ending his tumultuous tenure with the team. The move comes a day after Kimbrel surrendered a career-worst six runs in just 2/3 of an inning against the San Francisco Giants.
