**BEIJING, Sept. 14, 2024** – The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has officially opened in Beijing, attracting a record-breaking number of participants. Over 85 countries and international organizations, along with over 450 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders, are showcasing their latest offerings and forging new partnerships.

The event is anticipated to generate significant momentum for global collaboration in the service sector. Over 100 events, including thematic forums, conferences, and project promotions, will be held throughout the fair, alongside the release of over 200 integrated innovation achievements.

The fair features special exhibition areas at both the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park, where participating countries and international organizations are showcasing their services trade advantages and cultural tourism features.

CIFTIS 2024 is also highlighting the latest technological advancements in various fields, including naked-eye 3D displays, autonomous driving, digital culture and tourism, smart education, and intelligent sports.

The event comes at a time when China has strengthened its support for high-quality development in the services trade sector. Assistant Minister of Commerce Tang Wenhong emphasized that CIFTIS 2024 aims to achieve practical results through precise matchmaking, emphasizing the opportunities for foreign-funded enterprises within China’s thriving market.
