**CEDAR PARK, TX** – The Huntsville Hornets roared past the Cedar Park Timberwolves in a dominant performance Friday night, securing a 48-28 victory. The Hornets’ offense exploded in the first quarter, racking up 24 points and setting the tone for the rest of the game.
Freshman standout Zay Adolphe led the offensive charge, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 66-yard burst. Junior Trae’Shawn Brown added another touchdown in the opening frame, showcasing a potent running game that amassed 263 yards in the first quarter alone.
The Hornets’ defense also shined, shutting out Cedar Park in the first quarter and keeping the Timberwolves’ offense in check for much of the game.
Huntsville’s offensive firepower continued throughout the game, with Brown finishing with 212 yards and two touchdowns, while Adolphe added another 121 yards and two scores. Austin Taylor and David Brown also contributed rushing touchdowns.
