**Double Oak, TX** – A Double Oak woman’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, while her husband’s death was ruled a suicide. The incident occurred on September 1st at the couple’s home on Oakview Drive.
Rachelle Loconte, 51, was found deceased alongside her husband, Francisco Loconte, 58. Francisco’s manner of death was previously determined to be suicide by the TCME, but Rachelle’s cause was pending further investigation.
Double Oak Police Department responded to a medical call at the Loconte residence, where they discovered the deceased couple. Detective Rosy Halfmann confirmed that the couple had filed for divorce on August 27th.
Rachelle’s cause of death has been determined to be sharp force injuries to the head and neck, while Francisco’s cause is listed as a gunshot wound to the head.
Police are investigating the incident and believe it to be an isolated incident.
