**COOPERSTOWN, NY** – The League of Women Voters of the Cooperstown Area will be participating in National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 17th. League members will be stationed at various locations throughout the area, assisting voters in registering or updating their registration.
The event, a nationwide nonpartisan effort, aims to register hundreds of thousands of voters across the country. With the New York state deadline to register or update voter registrations approaching on October 26th, the League of Women Voters encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity.

League volunteers will be available at the following locations on September 17th:

In addition, League members will be registering voters at the Cherry Valley Kite Festival on September 28th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
