**Abuja, Nigeria** – The House of Representatives will reconvene on September 24th, 2024, at 11 am, after a rescheduling from the original date of September 17th. The decision was announced in an internal memo by the Clerk of the House, Yahaya Danzaria, on the directive of the House leadership.

During the recess, members engaged in extensive constituency outreach across the country, addressing key concerns and conducting oversight of government agencies, as mandated by the Constitution and House Standing Orders.

Upon reconvening, the House leadership will inaugurate the new board of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) and the Joint Senate/House Ad Hoc Committees on the Petroleum Industry Investigation on Wednesday, September 25th. Further details will be announced during plenary.

The 10th Assembly will continue its Legislative Agenda, focusing on impactful reforms aimed at national development and fulfilling its mandate to the Nigerian people.
