Tue Sep 10 16:22:00 UTC 2024: ## Lewiston Sun Journal Announces Free Concert Featuring Trinity Commons Wind Group & Mainely Flutes
**LEWISTON, ME** – The Trinity Commons Wind Group will perform a free concert at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Trinity Commons in Lewiston, joined by the Mainely Flutes flute choir from central Maine.
The concert will feature a diverse repertoire, including a lively Serenade for Ten Winds by American composer Arthur Bird, performed by the Trinity Wind Group. Bird, who lived in the late 1800s, composed most of his works in Germany despite being born in Massachusetts.
Mainely Flutes will contribute a selection of pieces including a Celtic medley, a rhumba, the iconic Pink Panther theme, and the renowned Claire de Lune by Claude Debussy.
This free concert, held at 247 Bates St., Lewiston, welcomes donations. Attendees are encouraged to engage in a respectful and thought-provoking discussion on the Lewiston Sun Journal website.
