Dewar, most recently the senior vice president and general manager of the Airbus A220 program (formerly the Bombardier CSeries), boasts a 38-year career marked by key contributions to the development of aircraft like the Bombardier Challenger, Global Express, Canadair Regional Jet series, and Airbus A321 and A330.
His leadership role in the A220 program, which saw the aircraft defined, developed, certified, and launched to market, solidified Dewar’s reputation as a driving force in the aviation industry. In 2017, he was recognized with the prestigious Aviation Week Laureates Award for his outstanding contributions to civil aviation and received the Aviation Achievement Award from Air Transport World in 2019.
