**Manila, Philippines** – Food and beverage giant Monde Nissin Corp. is continuing its expansion efforts, investing in a new startup and building a new manufacturing facility in Davao City.

The company announced its subscription to 87,500 shares of Amico Innovations Inc., a newly incorporated Philippine company, for a total of P17.5 million. This investment represents approximately 70% of Amico’s outstanding common shares, although specific details about the startup and its focus remain undisclosed.

Monde Nissin also revealed its ongoing investment in Davao City, where it is building an automated manufacturing and processing facility for butter coconut biscuits. This P1.2 billion project includes the acquisition of new machinery and equipment, site development, and working capital.

The Davao facility is expected to create new jobs and boost the local economy, while also strengthening Monde Nissin’s distribution network in the southern Philippines.

The company’s shares remained unchanged at P9.20 each on Tuesday.
