**New Delhi:** Residents of several areas in North Delhi will experience a 16-hour water supply disruption on Tuesday night, September 10th, due to maintenance work announced by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
The disruption, beginning at 8 pm, is necessary for repairs to a major water pipeline in Punjabi Bagh, near Indra Vihar Park. The affected areas include Gopalpur, Gujranwala Town, DDA SFS Flats in Mukherjee Nagar, JJ cluster in Azadpur Mandi, Azadpur Police Station, Wazirpur Industrial Area, Shalimar Bagh, Lawrence Road, Punjabi Bagh, and nearby regions.
The DJB has urged residents to use water judiciously during this period. Water tankers will be available on request by contacting the DJB helpline at 1916 or the Central Control Room. The water emergency helpline number is 9650291442.
The DJB has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the water disruption.
