– The incident happened at 2:30 am and the family started screaming, alerting neighbors who chased away the wolf.
– One woman and four men sustained injuries on their hands and are receiving treatment at Khandwa Medical College Hospital.
– The injured have been given rabies shots and medicines by the divisional forest officer.
– The DFO mentioned that based on a video clip circulating on social media, the animal appears to be a jackal, not a wolf.
