– Former BJP MP Brj Bhushan Sharan Singh criticized Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia for joining Congress.
– Singh also accused the wrestlers of harming Indian wrestling for two years.
– Vinesh Phogat was disqualified at the Paris Olympics, and Singh suggested that she was not mentally prepared to face the allegations.
– Singh questioned the fairness of trials in wrestling and criticized the railway referee for “fixing” matches.
– There has been dissent within the Haryana BJP as more than 40 leaders, including from different caste communities, have left the party.
