Sara Arjun Praises Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra for Early Belief in Her Talent
Mumbai, India – December 11, 2024 – Actress Sara Arjun, currently receiving accolades for her performance in the recently released spy thriller Dhurandhar, has penned a heartfelt thank-you note to casting director Mukesh Chhabra for believing in her potential long before her recent success.
In an Instagram post, Arjun addressed Chhabra as a guiding presence in her life, acknowledging his role in shaping her career. “You believed in me before the world noticed, and that silent faith changed everything,” she wrote, emphasizing his ability to see talent others often overlook.
Chhabra responded warmly, reminiscing about Arjun’s first advertisement, the McDonald’s ad, and praising her dedication, talent, and upbringing. “I truly can’t wait for everyone to see the magic you’ve created in Part 2,” he commented.
Arjun’s father, actor Raj Arjun, also expressed his pride in his daughter’s humble and grateful approach to her journey.
Prior to Dhurandhar, Arjun gained recognition as a child actor in films like Deiva Thirumagal, Saivam, and Ponniyin Selvan. Dhurandhar marks her first full-fledged film as an adult.
Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan. The film has grossed ₹152.08 crore in its first five days. Part 2 is scheduled for release on March 19th of next year.
