Wed Oct 29 01:20:00 UTC 2025: Dodgers’ Kiké Hernández Chases World Series Glory, Backed by His Beauty Queen Wife
Los Angeles, CA – As the Los Angeles Dodgers battle for the World Series title, one player, Enrique “Kiké” Hernández, is making history. Last night’s epic 18-inning game, which stretched past 11 PM PST, saw Hernández secure the title of most postseason games played in Dodgers history. While millions of fans worldwide cheer him on, no one is more supportive than his wife, Mariana Vicente.
Vicente, a former Miss Universe Puerto Rico, is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child, but that hasn’t stopped her from enthusiastically supporting her husband. She’s been spotted at games alongside their daughter, Penélope, both sporting custom Dodgers outfits emblazoned with Hernández’s number 8.
But Vicente is more than just a supportive baseball wife. The San Juan native began modeling at age four and represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe competition in 2010. She later transitioned into acting, with roles in films such as “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” and television shows like “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Interestingly, it was her acting career that led her to Hernández. In a story straight out of a rom-com, the baseball player spotted Vicente in “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” in 2015. Impressed, he contacted her via social media, discovering they were both Puerto Rican and living in Los Angeles. After a series of messages and a lunch date, their friendship blossomed into romance.
Hernández proposed in Big Sur in July 2017, and the couple married a year later in a beautiful Puerto Rican ceremony. They welcomed their daughter, Penélope, in 2021, and are expecting their second child, a son, in 2026.
Hernández, who proudly identifies as “Papá de Penélope” in his Instagram bio, frequently shares glimpses of his loving family life online. As they approach their 7th wedding anniversary this December, all eyes are on the couple as they hope to celebrate with another World Series victory.
