Navi Mumbai, India – India won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in their final league stage match of the Women’s World Cup 2025 today at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy. The start of play was delayed due to rain, and the match has been shortened to 43 overs per side.
Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur made three changes to the playing XI, bringing in Uma Chetry (making her debut), Radha Yadav, and Amanjot Kaur in place of Richa Ghosh, Kranti Gaur, and Sneh Rana.
India has already secured a place in the semi-finals, where they will face Australia. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has only won one match in the tournament so far.
