**Colombo, October 5th, 2025** – Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are clashing today in Match Number 6 of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. After 9 overs, India are 48/1, with Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol at the crease.
India are coming off a dominant victory against Sri Lanka in their opening match, winning by 59 runs via the DLS method. In contrast, Pakistan suffered a heavy 7-wicket defeat against Bangladesh in their first game.
India has made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Renuka Singh Thakur in place of Amanjot Kaur. Pakistan have also made one change, replacing Omaima Sohail with Sadaf Shamas.
