Mon May 12 22:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Packers-Bears Rivalry Renewed in Late December Showdown at Soldier Field

**Green Bay, WI** – The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will clash in a highly anticipated NFC North rivalry game on Saturday, December 20th, at Soldier Field in Chicago, the NFL announced Monday. The game, which will air on FOX, is scheduled for either 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. CT, with the exact kickoff time to be determined later.

This marks the latest regular-season meeting between the two teams in Chicago since 2020. The Packers hold a strong historical advantage in December/January matchups at Soldier Field, having played there 11 times in the regular season between 2004 and 2020, with a twelfth meeting in the 2010 NFC Championship game. Last season’s loss at Lambeau Field ended an 11-game winning streak for Green Bay in this historic rivalry and marked the Packers’ first defeat to the Bears under Head Coach Matt LaFleur. Their last loss at Soldier Field occurred on December 16, 2018.

In other Packers news, the team announced the release of guard Marquis Hayes and the signing of ten rookie free agents. Additionally, the Packers will celebrate the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft with a free virtual event featuring Packers players and a live stream showcasing Green Bay culture and Wisconsin favorites. A separate, in-person event at Lambeau Field will feature a photo of Lexi Roerk from Owensboro, KY, displayed during a regular-season game. The Packers also reminded fans to register for free entry to future events via the OnePass app.
