**Kalaburagi, May 12, 2025** – The 621st Urs-e-Shareef celebrations of Hazrat Syed Khwaja Bande Nawaz began Saturday with a traditional flag hoisting ceremony at the Dargah-e-Shareef in Kalaburagi. The ceremony, known as Parcham Kushai, was conducted by the Sajjada Nasheen, Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ali Al-Hussaini, who performed the ritual in traditional attire. Special prayers and sacred offerings were distributed to devotees. The celebrations will continue throughout the week, culminating in the anointing of the saint’s tomb with sandalwood paste on Thursday. The week-long event will feature various religious ceremonies, including musical performances (Band Sama) and processions.
