**Palakkad, Kerala – May 12, 2025** – A man has been arrested in Palakkad, Kerala, for allegedly defrauding another individual of ₹29 lakh through an online share trading scam. K.P. Hritheesh, a resident of Kaipamangalam, Thrissur, was taken into custody following an investigation into the October 2024 incident. Police allege that Hritheesh initially lured his victim with small returns on minor investments before convincing him to invest significantly larger sums. The victim subsequently lost ₹29 lakh, which was traced to Hritheesh’s bank account.
