**Mysuru, May 12, 2025** – The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) commenced a transparent recruitment drive for 309 vacant junior powerman positions on Monday. The process, launched by MLA and CESC chairman Ramesh Bandisiddegowda at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, involves a rigorous five-part endurance test running from May 12th to 16th.
Candidates are required to pass at least three out of five physical tests, including pole climbing and running, to proceed to the next stage. The final selection will be based on a 1:1 ratio considering SSLC (Class 10) merit and adherence to government reservation policies. CESC officials emphasized the transparent and merit-based nature of the recruitment, urging staff to maintain integrity throughout the process.
