**NEW DELHI** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results for its Class 10 and 12 board examinations next week, sources have confirmed. Last year’s results, announced on May 13th, showed a 93.6% pass rate for Class 10, a slight increase from the previous year. Over 22 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam, with girls outperforming boys by approximately 2%. A significant number of students achieved scores above 90% and 95%. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) recorded the highest pass percentages. The Class 12 pass rate was 87.98%, with over 16 lakh students appearing for the exam. The Thiruvananthapuram region boasted the highest pass percentages in both Class 10 and 12. Results will be available on DigiLocker, accessible via a six-digit code provided by schools. This year, approximately 42 lakh students took the exams across 7842 centers in India and 26 other countries.
